About the Role
As a casual Studio Assistant with Redlands Dance Academy, your main role is to ensure the smooth running of our studios during class times. You will monitor common areas and provide support to teachers, keeping a safe and efficient environment for our students.
About You
The School is looking for a calm, attentive, and experienced Studio Assistant who is confident with working with children in a school environment. You will be supporting students, staff, and families involved with the Redlands Dance Academy.
You will:
- Supervise and ensure students are directed to the correct studios and pick-up areas
- Maintain an orderly and safe corridor environment
- Assist students with their needs in line with safeguarding guidelines
- Provide support to teachers as required
- Communicate professionally with parents and carers
- Supervise pick-ups and ensure safe handover to parents or authorised guardians or are safely transferred to OOSH
- Report any incidents, concerns, or injuries to staff.
Please note that successful applicants will need to hold or be willing to obtain a paid NSW Working With Children Check. Valid First Aid Training is also preferred.
